Biographical
Orfeo grew up in Massachusetts and currently lives and works out of his studio in Hyannis, Cape Cod. While he has spent his adult life between New York City, Boston, and Miami Beach as an accomplished hair dresser, he continually returns to Cape Cod. He has loved painting since he was a small boy. While Orfeo was busy establishing himself as a hair dresser and colorist he never lost his passion for painting. As an adult I have always made art by sculpting hair, as well as painting colors for my clients. In 2008 a friend invited him to show his paintings at the Blu Day Spa in Provincetown, MA. Since Orfeo's first showing in Provincetown he has exhibited his paintings in solo, group, and juried shows. Orfeo continues to evolve as an artist sharing his time between creating salon art and his art
as a painter.
